Deyna’s journey took her to the United States, where she played for Florida State University (FSU). With the Seminoles, she became one of the most impactful players in NCAA women’s soccer, breaking scoring records and leading her team to historic victories, including the 2018 National Championship.
Early Life and Football Beginnings in Venezuela
Since her humble beginnings in Maracay, Venezuela, Deyna’s love for soccer was a lifelong commitment. She used to accompany her mother to her brother’s practices, and it wasn’t long before Deyna was out there training as well. At 16, with passion fueling her, she moved to the United States to join FSU.
